^ I was gonna say "This is AKB's 'Hey, Mirai!/Ganbacchae!' moment," meaning, similar to the moment that Tsunku P took for granted that any crap he wrote for MM would be popular. But now, looking back on it, I feel nostalgic for those songs. And the PVs... damn, Kaori looked good in Hey Mirai! and @ Ganbacchae! with Captain TOWERING over Maimai. Too adorable for words.

That's their new single? It's definitely bland, but I think I liked Kachuusha even less.

Last year was great for AKB. and while Kaze wa fuiteiru is good, it's not at the same level as last year. What is way beyond me though is how the singles this year, which are all way more bland than those last year, sell so much. Only shows that people don't give a shit about the songs. ~.~

Agreed, they were doing pretty well song-wise, and now it's like they're throwing songs at them just because they have to. I found Kaze wa Fuiteru so boring, probably more than Kachuusha. I feel like Kaze wa Fuiteru was supposed to be their "Beginner" or "River" of this year, but was a big failure. But it doesn't matter since they keep selling so much.
