Isn't music in school more like playing instruments and stuff rather than singing? At least that's what I remember it being for me.

I remember it's a lot of singing, and the songs relate to different cultures and musical styles so we learn about those too. We also talked about stuff like beats and rhythms so there was a lot of clapping. There was also some instruments and really basic music theory.

Singing usually didn't involve pop music at all. The songs were usually boring.

I don't know a lot about singing, but as far as music theory goes it makes sooooo much more sense with playing instruments (especially piano) vs. singing... so maybe she messed up on some of that.

Well then, I’ll tell you a hilarious story about Maa-chan from yesterday.

*Maa-chan: Masa wasn’t able to use the pencil board skillfully.

Staff-san: So you wrote without a pencil board, right?

Maa-chan: That’s right～. I wasn’t able to do “If crying makes it better, then cry”(the part Maa-chan sang in Shabondama at Budoukan)～

Staff-san:、、、。Rolling your Rs, right?

Maa-chan: Yesーthat’s rightー

I was honestly laughing so hardー!!*laughs*
She called Rolling Rs a Pencil board!! *laughs*

The staff-san really understood her well, didn’t they?ー(laughs)

Amazing!! Just as you’d expect!! *laughs*

That being said, also just as you’d expect from Maa-chan. *laughs**laughs*

She was too funny(*^艸^) *laughs*

Maa-chan really is the best!!! *laughs*

Lately, since I have been talking to Maa-chan more, up until now I have been able to see lots of her funniness, and I always am able to really enjoy it ヽ( ´￢`)ノ♪ *laughs*

*I think what this story is saying is that she used the wrong word for rolling Rs (makijita) and used the word for pencil board (shitajiki) instead? I dunno, Masaki is a weirdo.
