I think about this song all the time. Still wish it had been a single!

That said... I really don't mean this in a rude way, but I hope some solid vocalists were picked during the audition. :whistling:

This generation.

(yeah, i know, we've posted so many of these compilations/digests/excerpts from the last batch DVD magazines that there a lot of repeat clips. if this were a normal year, we'd have new material by now: spring tour finales, summer festivals, a new batch of DVD magazines, and TV appearances to promote singles. but this is not a normal year, so we're picking over last year's carcass while we wait.)

^ This one is particularly good. Pay close attention starting at 1:10.

Ayumi, Maa-chan, and Oda using 15th gen to criticize each other from afar

Ayumi tells Mei-chan to Maa-chan : "Please post more on the blog".
Mei-chan "Ishida-san told me"
Ayumi "Shhhh, shhh"

Oda tells Homare to Maa-chan : "Please listen to us when were talking to you!"

Ayumi tells Mei-chan to Oda : "Please stop being a Burriko"

Subtitled!

I think it's clear that they were informed of the general topic in advance, so that the 15th Gen members could prepare answers. Mei had obviously rehearsed hers; she is very young and painfully shy and not a good talker, at least not yet.

But I'm struck by how insightful and eloquent Homare's answers were. Rio is more confident and forthright, and I think she will make a good leader if she stays long enough to succeed Makino/Kaga. But I'm also starting to think Homare is the smart one, possibly the smartest to come along in a while. It first occurred to me when I watched her talk about stationery…
