^ The most amazingly wonderful thing I ever heard her do was a 1981 demo called "Laugh to Keep from Crying". Her Chrissie Hynde impersonation is impeccable:
Me too. Apparently a lot of people called them "sell-outs" because their second album was so different. I watched them on TV last year and they said they didn't want to be "known forever as the band that does retro music".
So I think I am late in the BABYMETAL game. I actually looked into them a few times in their early day and was not impressed because of the lip syncing. It is the single thing I hate the most concerning live music. But their latest video blown me away. Su-metal improves so much that she really impressed me. And the concert production was top notch, stylist, fun and full of energy. And the live band! God. That's a legit metal band.
Amuse really knows how to produce and develop good music acts, and they have shown in the past with big name like Southern All Stars, Perfume, Fukuyama Masaharu, and etc. If only UF* could do it on the same level.
Been listening to a lot of classical music lately and just found the station for complete classical pieces ( that's not the official title). They played the full version of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Aka that operatic song that intros that one Momoiro CloverZ song.
I mention it here for future refrence to myself because I want to buy it at some point. listening to it also made me think of Utena and I wonder if the guy who did that music was influenced by this song also?
I don't really follow this thread, so I don't know, this might have come up. Might not have.
I like to find odd groups and stuff on Jpopsuki sometimes to download and listen too. I have a very, veeeery eclectic taste in music. (Just the other day I was talking Classical. xD)
This is Tengger Cavalry. A, as Jpopsuki puts it, Mongolian folk-metal rock band from China. If you folk music mixing with your heavy metal and a little Chinese flair. Check them out.
