Morinaga Niina appeared at the "2020 Miss International Japan National Team Election Tournament" today. It's currently being livestreamed (it's been going for over 2 hours at this point). She didn't make it into the final 15, but her swimsuit walk was sassy as heck and she was awarded the "Webgenic Award" (Webジェニック賞).

Niina's swimsuit walk was at about 1:10:00 in, I think. Compared with the other women, she got an audibly enthusiastic cheer, I'm guessing some UUG2 fans were there.

It's really unfortunate that she didn't make it to the last round. The top 15 girls were required to give a speech IN ENGLISH. I would have loved to have heard what Morinaga prepared.

Up Up Girls (Kari) will release their 27th single on 12/10. It's a triple a-side titled "It’s Up To You / HAPPY NAKED!! / BIG BANG". They're all different types of party songs, and the new artist photo is "reminiscent of an adult party in the '90s".

I always seem to go through phases with UUG groups, much more frequently than other groups. We've cycled back around to a batch of songs I don't really care for. (Just going by the little bit I've heard of UUG(2)'s next single, seems like the same could apply there.)
