UUG is on a 7 hour live "world's first SNS variety" Abema show with former SMAP members and a bunch of other people. The official twitter keeps tweeting clips, I think of a sports test segment. I've only barely skimmed the site description, I just got really confused when clips of SMAP and Mori Saki's face in a bowl of water suddenly popped up in my feed back to back.

Somehow I totally missed a crapton of videos that are on Nikichan! til they showed up in my recommendations the other day. Like for example this video is 4 months old.

I love that it's captioned as 【歌ってみた】tried singing 【踊ってみた】tried dancing, and 【MV作ってみた】tried making a MV.

This is maybe the first time that Niina hasn't looked to me like she wandered on to the junior team's practice session by accident. I don't know if the others are catching up to her in looking more adultish, or if I'm just getting used to her.



With the members in bare feet even Hoo-chan looks gigantic compared with Shima-chan.

I don't know how I missed this when it first popped up. Oh, wait I see, UUG(2) have their own side channel now. Anyway, whoever came up with the idea of this dance cover and matched the girls up is a freaking genius.

As probably intended, it went viral among BABYMETAL fans. It's currently at 155K views and the comments are mostly positive, including many that say Honoka should actually replace YUIMETAL.

Also, according to the video description, it was Chihiro's idea.

That video is now up to 413K views, which makes it a massive viral hit for a channel with only 5.3K subscribers.

So let's do it again, but with more Halloween!
