I love them too, both the costumes and the covers. I'm getting all kinds of '90s/early 2000s from both costume sets (the shape of Erina's casual costume, specifically, made me think of Coco Lee's outfits in her "Hip Hop Tonight" MV), and even the SP cover editing feels like something I would've seen as a kid.
One of my first thoughts when I saw the black and silver was "modern RR21" (unfortunately without oversized Geordi La Forge visors).
