Morning Musume. '24 is one of the first group of artists (and first girl group) announced to perform at a music festival called "The MusiQuest 2024" on July 21st (Day 2) @ PIA ARENA MM in Yokohama. (Arena opened in 2020, Capacity 12,141)

"The MusiQuest 2024" to be held this Summer at Pia Arena MM, is a music festival sponsored by TV Asahi with the theme of exploring musical diversity and new music and artists. The second edition of the music event, which attracted 40,000 people over two days last year and was SOLD OUT on both days, will be held again this year. This year's event will once again feature a large lineup of artists that transcends the boundaries of genres. Together with the artists and the audience, we will create NEW VIBES.

Tsubaki Factory's Summer festival "Shakunetsu" at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater will be held for the third time!
In the first strategy meeting, we will report on the Shakunetsu's annual shuffle unit lottery!
Let's make memories of the Summer of 2024 with Tsubaki Factory this year!

The 11 members decide again how they will divide the team into shuffles. This time there will be 5 shuffle teams (Trio, Trio, Duo, Duo, Solo). They take turns selecting a name from a box.

- Opening Talk : "Recent happenings"
~ When the three of us first went out to eat cheesecake together, we had not yet broken the ice, but now it seems that we can't stop chatting."
~ They seem to be able to go talk to seniors and other group members more comfortably, showing their high level of communicative ability. Tanimoto was melted by the conversation among the three, who still had an innocent look in their eyes.

- "Remember me more ♥" corner : The new members each introduce themselves, and show off their skills in 90 seconds.
~ Ishii Mihane : "My favorites things are Hello Pro, Lesser Panda, Sato Masaki, Ishiyama Sakura, Akiyama Mao, Fukuda Marine, and Yofu Runo. I failed the first audition for Hello Pro, but I was happy every time the 25th anniversary audition proceeded to the next round. The red panda is cute because of the shortness of its hands when it threatens.
~ Ishii then listed her favorite parts about her favorite members, but her feelings were too strong to reach Marine and Runo. When meeting with Marine, she used to make a funny face and run away because she was so nervous, but recently she has been talking with a funny face and boasted, "It's growth."
Her Special skill is Unique skipping. To get there, she performs a normal skip. On the way back, she skips by leaning forward and moving her legs in small increments.

~ Murata Yuu : "Kasai-san called me a 'boyish junior high school student' in behavior, but it is better than being called a 'baby.' I am 'show-off,' 'competitive,' and 'selfie-taker.' Just remember these three things. For selfies, please remember the pose 'palm', 'peace', and 'me'(point to yourself with your thumb)”, I recommend 'me.' I have been learning dance since elementary school and learned the joy of dancing in front of others at a recital. She said, "I wasn't nervous at all." The audience cheered when she finished speaking within her allotted time.
Her Special skill is Jump rope. While wearing a skirt, she performed a regular jump rope, a double jump, and a hayabusa (crossing a rope while doing a double jump).

~ Doi Fuka : "I had no experience in singing or dancing, but my mom found the Tsubaki Factory audition and applied. I love tomatoes and the place I want to go now is 'tomato picking.' Some people eat them with salt or olive oil, but I recommend eating them as they are."
Her Special is skill is Soran-bushi. She danced happily with shouts of 'Sore Sore Sore' and 'Dokokosho' from the audience.

- "Conditional Janken fight!" corner : The 3 of them raise the rock paper scissors hands written on their cards and compete for the total points of regular rock paper scissors and "conditional rock paper scissors." The condition is to "Tell Leader Tanimoto what is cute about her"

- Postman Delivers a Present giveaway : A message and signatures are written on a colored paper by the members and delivered to three winners chosen by their seat number. Each of them descend to the audience to deliver the present doing a "cat," "ninja," and "bird" pose to the winner.

- "Camellia Declaration of Determination" corner.

The three of them have not yet decided on their nickname.

~ What has changed in three years?
Ebata "The number of juniors has increased and the order of their height has changed. When I joined, it was Arisawa > Irie > Ebata, but now it is Ebata > Irie > Arisawa. Endo Akari has also grown very tall, and now she is just under 170 cm. I think she will eventually reach the ceiling. Mifu also growing taller.
Arisawa "Three years is the result of living. I've only gained a year."
~ Share a recent episode with Uemura-san.
Ebata "Uemura-san" invited me out to eat chilled Chinese noodles. We only had about 30 minutes to spare, so I had chilled chuka for the first time. I am thinking of asking her to join me, but Uemura-san has invited me so many times that I think, 'Actually, she likes me, doesn't she?'
Arisawa "Whenever I have a problem, I call asking for help, "Ichika, tell me about it."

- Lucky Memory Matching game corner : Cards with the titles of Juice=Juice 10 songs released since the three members joined the group were randomly placed on the audience seats before the start of the show. If a seat number was drawn and a pair was found and matched, a point was scored.

- Ichika Arisawa vs Ebata Kisaki Drawing Showdown : In the first half, a point is awarded if a picture drawn according to the theme is answered by a person nominated by the audience. The one with most points within the time limit is the winner. In the second half, the contestants were asked to draw a picture of a theme and see who could draw it prettier. The subject was "Kawashima Mifu." Ebata's Mifu looks like an illustration by Yoshitomo Nara, with her eyes lifted up, as if she is plotting something.
Ichika drew Mifuchan's eyes full of curves. The audience applauded, and Ichika won. You can see the portraits of the two artists on Mifu's blog.

Announced awhile back, but this year, they will have two ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024 events. This one in August @ Chiba Soga Sports Park, and returning to their original location @ Hitachi Seaside Park (Ibaraki) in September.

Also note that Morning Musume. '24 is not announced to perform at this ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024 in August for the first time in so many years. Maybe they will perform at the second ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024 in September, the original location.

Today it is announced that Morning Musume. '24 and ME:I will both be performing at "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024 in Hitachinaka" on the same day, September 22nd (Day 4).

~ "I'm Nakayama Natsume, and I turned 19 on July 20th"
~ Nakayama says her goal for this year is to embark on a journey of self-discovery : She explained that until now she had been trying her best to be herself and not be dyed in any color, but since she will turn 20 next year, she thought it was time for her to embark on a journey of self-discovery. As for other smaller goals, she hopes to polish her singing and dancing skills and broaden her range of activities.
"Also, my fans are all so kind that I sometimes wonder if I'm repaying them properly, so I hope I can give them love until they are full," said Nakayama.

- "#Minna de Natsume de gozaru" (Everyone is Natsume") corner : Natsume says this phrase every time she posts on X (Twitter) everyday. So she wants everyone to do the same. Before the start of the event, everyone was given this cut-out sheet that says "#Minna de Natsume de gozaru" (#みんなで夏月姫でござる). She wants to take a commemorative photo with everyone in the background sticking their heads through this cut-out.Nakayama explained that she would post the photo to the audience today or tomorrow on X, and said that she wanted everyone to start #Minna de Natsume de gozaru" today.

Nakayama said that there was a time in the past when she thought there was something wrong with her smile.
She advised that there are definitely people who will be happy to see the person asking the question smile, and that smiling makes people happy, even though they may feel embarrassed or something like that.
Q. "I keep thinking about things that make me anxious, but how can I solve them?"
Nakayama said that because of her personality, she is the type of person who tends to get depressed when it comes to the 16 types of things that are popular these days.
Nakayama answered that if you compare yourself with others and feel depressed, you can think that you are taking a test with different answer sheets from others and you can like yourself a little bit more if you think that person is that person. Nakayama said that if you are anxious, it means that you are dealing with things in a good way, so you should praise yourself for it.
