I don't have one..

Have you got paypal?

...Worst case, you can ask you parents to buy it, and give them the money in cash.
(That's what I would do if I didn't have a debit card.)

I have a debit card, not a credit card.

I can probably borrow my brother's card but I'd like to avoid that option if possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if they accepted PayPal. You can link your debit card to your PayPal account and pay using it, but the money transfer will take a few days. I used to do it before I had my own credit card.

I also have PayPal. Okay. Sweet.

Are a lot of people going from Montreal to NY? If possible I'd like to meet up in Montreal and head down together. So yeah.

Yep.
Sada, since you have a debit card (like me) you can pay using paypal, and you will technically have "bought" the ticket, so it will be yours, but it will take a few days (usually 3 or 4) for the money to transfer, but you will still own the ticket.
That's how I get stuff on ebay.
Just buy the ticket using your debit.

Just use a prepaid card you can pick up at a convenience store.

You can use your debit card for online purchases/payments. For this purpose it's pretty much the same thing as a credit card, as long as it has a Visa, Mastercard, etc logo.

You need to have a sufficient amount of money in your account, of course.

Yes you need a credit card, I suggest getting one of those prepaid credit cards put more than what you need on it and hold onto it till tickets go on sale. If not that, if you have a bank account, go there and take out a debit credit card. They work like a credit card but the money is connected to your bank account. And if that's not an option, ask your parents.

I'm late to the party, but I will add that I did a mock buy out of a ticket to see what they took and I didn't see paypal as an option.

Edit- just tried stubhub, it uses paypal but I don't know if they will be an option since it's more a ticket reseller and I think they charge more.

I mean, can't you just use your debit card number, plug it in, and pay that way?
That's how amazon and cdjapan do it... I'm sure this will work the same.

OR, if you are REALLY desperate, you can ask someone to buy a ticket for you, and then you can "buy" the ticket from them, but for the price that they bought the ticket, so that way you in a way, "bought" the ticket. XD

...I'm sure it'll be fine when the day comes. c:

As long as your debit card has a Visa or MasterCard logo on it, you can use it. If it doesn't, you can't use it as a credit card.
