Since my current cats have citrusy names like "Yuzu", "Mikan", and "Lime", next "Kabosu"-chan would be good.

Since I also dream of having a flying squirrel, when I grow up
and live on my own, if I get lonely, I'd want to make a family with a flying squirrel.

The Japanese flying squirrel (momonga) is actually a relatively common more "exotic" pet in Japan. They have all kinds of weird pets they keep, like the axolotl and even river otters. Japan's one of the biggest markets for exotic pets, so much that they get into trouble sometimes for black market stuff too >.>

"Results revealed that one in three people (33%) are interested in petting exotic animals (like at exotic animal cafes), while one in six (17%) are interested in keeping them as pets. Interest in exotic pets was higher among younger age groups, with teenagers twice as likely to express interest than all respondents." (source)
