Maki dyed her hair over the summerbreak, the reason she dyed it dark again (Pucchi moni etc) was because school started up. :b

I find that kind of amusing that in a Japanese school you're not allowed to have anything but dark hair

. I mean in the west we have natural blonds and redheads etc. I could understand them outlawing green and blue hair in school but blond? Is that too outlandish and western for their school? lol. Though in seriousness i'm going to guess they want everyone to look the same and equal or something along those lines.

You can only have black hair at school? O_o
Is it a rule that still goes on now?

Eripon and her short hair look good.

In NZ schools (or at least Catholic schools, which most are), you're not allowed to dye your hair an unnatural colour. I'm guessing it's the same way in Japan - except that over there the only natural hair colour is black

.

edit: LOL Stara, i submitted this JUST after you posted yours:
do they allow dark brown? the kind that is definitely not their natural color, but still dark enough to not stand out too much.
i know in Mexico a lot of schools don't let you dye your hair an unnatural color, but think in Japan blonde counts blonde is an unnatural color for them. i think Mexico wouldn't like hair dyed blonde either, unless that's your natural color.

I don't think you can dye your hair any colour in Japan? I dunno. It doesn't seem like you can.

Dark brown/black seems to be what's okay since some people do have dark brown colors rather than black. Blonde hair is what yankees did back in the 80s, and since then it has become one of those "delinquent"-colors, which is why most schools forbid it, I guess. Of course not all schools are like this though. And I think it's just up to middle school? From high school I think it gets less strict. Though of course that depends on the school and such.

I had various colors (though mainly black) too. But back when I was in Middle/High School it was rather that if one dyed their hair black they were satanists or similar
