This might possibly mean DVD magazine re-releases in HD.
A lot of older stuff they only released on DVD was shot with HD equipment.
We got some of those 1080p versions (Image DVD's, concerts,...) via U-Next.
Fingers crossed they'll do the same here.

I was randomly looking up Anmii and this came up as a top result...
https://aieasypic.com/inspire/models/detail/v10-176632Edit - Didn't check everybody but she's not the only one:
(She is however the only one I saw who came up in a plain vanilla google search)

As soloists, will they get enough monthly listeners for them to keep the service up is the question though. Is it worth it? They aren't like Suzuki Airi who can barely reach 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

She didn't have her full catalogue up there though (just a few isolated releases), now she does.
Taiyo to Ciscomoon are also included in this whole thing by the way.

I assume more listens will pile up as people get used to it. I don't do music streaming as my primary listening method and refuse to subscribe but I assume a lot of fans will hop over once their favorite music gets there. Most of Airi's fans are H!P fans and we don't do as much streaming for obvious reasons.
Hopefully H!P streaming is on the horizon, they're a decade late to pick this avenue up.

Regarding Airi's popularity, another thing to consider is that while Spotify is fairly dominant across the globe:
Spotify 30.5%
Apple Music 13.7%
Tencent Music 13.4%
Amazon 13.3%
YouTube Music 8.9%
in Japan, Apple Music is nearly a rival
Spotify 24.1%
Apple Music 21.5%
Amazon Music Unlimited 15.5%
LINE Music 13.1%
AWA 10.2%
which means that Airi's total listenership, naively, would be closer to 400k than 300k, but perhaps even higher considering that some J-Pop artists are not distributed on Spotify, which means listeners who seek out J-Pop would be more inclined to subscribe to Apple Music. And so among the J-Pop listening cohort who would stream Airi to begin with, Spotify's share is likely even lower.

I wish Morning Musume would drop the numbers. It does a huge disservice to them to have it in this digital word. Every year and every new release moves the group. So now you have Morning Musume and Morning Musume 14-24. If they were to hit Spotify what would it be like? If they could just find a way to merge all those “groups” into 1?
