I've always thought of AKB as the JE of female idols lol. Really popular, but super bloated with lots of lipsynching and uncoordinated dancing. The concert was still fun though, when it actually got to songs and members I knew lol.

The only other hang-ups:
- There are so many of them, and so many people going before you even get to know them. Also having jkt there was just lolol worthy. It made the lipsynching that much more obvious when Takajo didn't know the Indonesian version, and vice versa for the rest of the jkt girls.
- weird camera angles, and delays when getting to filming the person who was speaking.
- really long winded mcs. And again, the uncoordinated dancing just kills me.

Loved it when they made it to the hits at the end finally, and I feel sorry for the girls who got demoted /had their activities stopped after all of the positive announcements. Hope we get reasons why they were demoted soon. Good thing Sae and Takajo were moved back to akb though lol

Watching other idol concerts like this one and that KARA budoukan live just really makes me appreciate the calibur of work H! P churns out.

They didn't really get demoted as much as they are going back to being a member of only 1 group, I'm pretty sure it was stated as being a temporary thing when it was announced in the first place (I always thought it was temporary anyway..) but as far as Akicha and Sae and Mariyannu are concert, they will be doing both the oversea groups and the main group at the same time if my understanding is good

Ah, I was just going by what the translation at Stage 48 said (something about positions being revoked) lol and it made it seem like the girls activities were being halted all together. That, combined with how crushed Yokoyama Yui and KitaRie looked I thought they got the boot or something

But I wonder why Sae didn't have more of a happy reaction at being back with K. There's speculation that it might be because while she might have been THE face of SNH48, now with her being back in K too her place is unknown. With her being "back" she might not have too many obligations to SNH anymore, but still won't be getting to much of a push in team K. Eh, who knows.

I think she was getting along really well with the girls in SNH, but was made to cut back. People on Twitter were saying it might have had something to do with the Japan-China relationships, which is why they pulled the girls out. Not that it's SNH48's fault.

Also I love how Harugon was probably like "No fuck you I'm staying RIGHT HERE".
