I cried a bit when Bryan gave icey the flowers. Like probably as much as when Zukki reacted to the fans' cheers and when Sayu was reading the letter.

Ugh, it's so hard to come back to normal life. I went straight from the airport to my class yesterday. Was 2 minutes late. Missed a class completely, but it's fine. I went home and told one of my roommates about the weekend, because even though she doesn't know about H!P or anything she's really sweet and would always listen to me talk on and on about whatever.

Daishi commented in her blog about the concert!

Spoiler: show
[disclaimer, my japanese is quite not-good, so if i get anything wrong, sorry. XD (I'll leave things idk how to say in japanese.)

Oban!
It's Ayumi d(^-^)

I wrote "Oban" (aka night, like 晩?) but right now in NY it is 8:30 AM!
I woke up not long ago!

Good morning!

Well, for everyone in japan, it's almost time for "Good night", right?
Have a nice dream! (I guess translate this way? "Sleep well" or "Have a good night" kinda?)

I, particularly, didn't really dream anything...

Now then, in the morning in Japan-time, (the 7th) have you seen the news??

There were newspapers and news about Morning Musume. '14's concert in NY!

The concert in ny was REALLLLLLYYYYYY exciting!! (verb used is 盛り上がるwhich idk if it means like, "to swell" as in exciting, so i just used exciting.)

Everyone who is actually from New York...

Everyone who came from Brazil, Canada, and other countries...

And everyone who came from Japan...

When it comes to singing (songs?), your country really doesn't matter; The whole world becomes one!

Also, what was really amazing...

The loudness of the cheering, and all the Japanese that was circulating! (I guess like, how so many people knew japanese was amazing to her.)

We all (the girls) learned English for this,
And it seems the fans were really intelligent (lol)

"私たちは英語勉強していったけど
ファンの方の方が頭がよかったというか(笑)" <- I'm not sure if she means "but the fans are really smart" or "and the fans are really smart".... as in, not sure if she means that they tried learning english, but we were learned japanese for them, or if she means that we were intelligent bc we were able to understand them. o.o

But, it's good that we were able to say all the english we learned!

All the people who came,
all the people who couldn't come,
Everyone throughout the world,
Thank you so much for your support.

Thank you so much <3

There are the outfits we wore specifically for New York!
(lit. reads "There are the outfits which were limited to New York.)

There is sooo much more i want to write about,
There are so many stories outside of the concert that I want to reminisce about...
But I will end shortly.

I will write another blog soon!!!

There will be more from New York!

Yay for terrible Japanese, and probably translating a few things wrong. Thing is, she writes her sentences weird, so I'm not sure if certain things are going on other things or not.
such as when she says "もうすごかったんです!" I'm unsure if she's talking about what she writes after that, or if she's talking about what she wrote before that.

hehehe.
Well, if anyone can translate it better, can you? :D

By the way, female fans were mentioned often, but oh man, the crowd was pretty diverse. There were teenagers and older people. I think boinsie and I saw what looked like a guy that was just there with his teenage daughter...? :hehe: While I was redeeming my LivingSocial ticket, a young girl next to me was like, "This is my first concert ever!!!" Minus the costumes and color-coded clothing, it was basically like a normal group of people in the US (different races, etc). Many people were in normal people's clothes and you didn't think they were coming to the concert, but they were indeed coming to the concert.

The tickets say "16+" on them, but I'm sure there were people younger than that there — Tsunku's kids and some of the performers, at the very least!

Also, I don't think anyone had to check in their bags. There were definitely people with backpacks in there. They did examine our bags, of course, but it was really quick. I opened my bag, but they didn't look inside it or even touched it.
