Huh. I didn't think of that. I only know the word as arubaito, and it didn't occur to me that it could be shortened. It certainly makes more sense, though, in the context of the café.
Everyone else has been romanizing it as "byte", so I stopped worrying about it and just went with it.
*googles a bit*
Oh yeah, it should be "Baito Fighter". It's obvious now.

I saw the Cool Japan episode which showcased Akihabara Backstage Pass last night. It was on the "The Coolest of Cool" episode. The preview is on their facebook which is in the link below.
