Wow what an awful translation. Leaving Japanese in there.

Not to mention the incorrect grammar.

well since the only translator is you, i got no choice but to use their blog translation until somebody does like "MMBBS" or you.

directed elsewhere : i like to see someone translate better and faster if you're gonna whine about it.

If I got paid to do translations for everything; blogs, videos, info etc, I would do it. But as I don't, I don't have time for it to be honest. I have other things I have to do too.

Thing is I know there are more people that are good at Japanese, and I wouldn't mind if they translated things obviously as they would know what they're doing. But people thinking they got a language down because they know some 100 words and basic grammar and know how to use an online kanji dictionary for translating? Please. Stay away until you know what you're doing. This is one of the many reasons to why Hyakupa's subs are awful, too.

For the many of us who can read very, very little Japanese, anything is better than nothing. Especially when so much is posted on forums in kanji and left for the rest of us to guess or do the legwork to figure it out. I don't know how many times setlists are copy and pasted from 2ch, and I only ever know what three or four of the songs are (the ones with obvious katakana or hiragana, or straight up english).

Romanizing setlists and getting the important bits out of news and such isn't too difficult. And I honestly don't see why people don't do it more often.
But translating blog entries, in which very casual Japanese is used, shouldn't be done by someone who doesn't even know the language properly. Honestly the same goes for song titles. For example the general translation of "1 kara 10 made aishite hoshii" seems to be "I want to love from 1 to 10" while it's really "I want you to love me from 1 to 10" and while that might not be a huge difference, it does change the meaning a lot.
And don't even get me started on the translations over at projecthello.

It's about being able to see the nuance used to the sentence and know how certain words and verb forms are used, as Japanese is a language that rely a lot on nuance. And giving the actual song a listen, when it comes to translating songs/song titles.

I hate it when people leave Japanese in translations, unless it's something that can't be translated directly. Really, it's just lazy. You should put "thank you very much" instead of "arigatou gozaimasu". Not everyone is going to know what arigatou gozaimasu means (yes, it's basic, but still).

I would, but honestly. Hardly anyone reads blog entries. There's no real point. And lol, can you just get over yourself and address me by my name? It's about time you moved on.
